Our mission is to educate the public on all aspects of the Civil War.
As we prepare for our exciting move, the Education Department of the Civil War and Underground Railroad Museum is in the process of creating a Museum without walls. New programming is being developed that will bring the Civil War Museum directly to your classroom. Teacher's curriculum material will be available to be used in the classroom for pre- and post- visit lesson-planning specifically for grades 5 - 12. This material will be posted in .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) file format that will be easily downloadable.
